Great fresh fries. 7 for a takeout box full (large). Not sure they salted them though, so it was good that we were eating there and could salt them ourselves. Truck looks shabby and I'm guessing they're planning to redo it for the season? No shade yet at the picnic tables, but it was nice they had those out. Overall, great option for satisfying a craving for fresh fries - would go again!
Portions so big, this fat guy didn't even finish his poutine! (Sure is good with the Buffalo chicken though!) Deep fried pickles are also DILL-icious!
My favourite poutine in Welland. The owner is very nice and I love getting to sit outside and eat. My only minor complaint is sometimes the oil could use a change, but it's not bad enough to ruin the food. I often come near the end of the day which is likely why I sometimes experience this.
From time to time I crave a simple meal. Because it was convenient at the time I decided to try Mister Chips. My oh my. My wife ordered their cheeseburger with a poutine and I ordered their hotdog with a poutine. Their hotdog is good, nothing much to brag there. However, their cheeseburger was very delicious. The veggies were fresh and the patty was tasty. Love how it was charred just a bit and then full of flavour with every bite. Their poutine is served with cheese curds, not the squeaky Quebec curds but still tasted delicious. I think I found my new burger spot.
This place smells amazing and the food tastes great. Area and place is clean. They're fast so be ready to eat. Poutines are awesome. Two picnic tables to enjoy your food. Fast service. Cash or etrasnfer only. Plenty of free parking.
Best poutine in the city! Fairly large sizing for a decent price. Always highly recommend! You can add extra cheese curds for 2 more. The regular is super generous though on both cheese and gravy as well. Burgers are pretty good as well. If you are looking to have a homemade burger with fresh toppings, this place is a good option. They have a great specialty list, but you can add on toppings as per your preference.
What can I say the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever had (I wasn’t the recipe for your batter Emile! His Poutine, french fries chicken fingers and burgers are the best in Welland if not Niagara for sure!
